Everyone thought that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be the last smartphone in this series. But the truth is that people still want to buy large smartphones (practically tablets) from this Korean company. Some decided to keep their Galaxy Note 7 mobiles, because they think that these are very good device. However, it turns out that Samsung is working on the Galaxy Note 8, which will be an unusual flagship smartphone.
We already know almost everything about the Galaxy S8 and S8+. In the network we van find non only specifications, but also recordings of fully-functioning devices. Quite a number of internet users even consider that these leaks were controlled by Samsung, because they wanted to make up for its absence on MWC 2017. As we all know, Koreans have done a lot of work to pinpoint the cause of the problems with the Galaxy Note 7. They also had to refine their test procedures for new models to not allow a second time for the same mistake. That’s why the Galaxy Note 8 will definitely be a very secure smartphone. D.J. Koh (head of Samsung mobile division) two months ago said that the new Note 8 will be an extremely innovative device.
What do we know about the specifications of the Galaxy Note 8?
So far we have not had too many leaks on this model. Currently we know about two models with different chipsets. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset or the Samsung Exynos 9XXX processor. So far, only the Exynos 9810 system has been heard, which has been revealed by one of the engineers on his LinkedIn profile. This is very interesting, because the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be powered by Exynos 8895, which has performance comparable to the Snapdragon 835. Some tests even show that the Samsung processor can be more efficient than the Qualcomm chipset. If the Galaxy Note 8 gets an even better chip, then it might be the fastest smartphone of this year. What’s better, it will be the only model with this processor. Therefore, competitors like OnePlus and others will not have the slightest chance.
The Galaxy Note 8 is supposed to have 6.4” screen
It is currently rumoured that Galaxy Note 8 will offer 4K display with 3840 × 2160 pixels resolution. However, this is not consistent with the new trend of using 2.05: 1 (18.5: 9) displays. Especially since the schema suggests that the Galaxy Note 8 housing is a kind of Galaxy S8 evolution. In this case, Samsung’s biggest flagship of this year should support 4428 x 2160 pixels resolution.
It is possible that the Galaxy Note 8 will have as much as 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. As you look at these numbers, it’s hard to believe. Good news is that Samsung is not going to remove the audio jack port. Everyone wonders when other smartphone manufacturers will follow Apple and get rid of some obsolete interface, which is a 3.5 mm audio jack. Available diagrams also reveal the bottom of the USB Type C port and the S-Pen. The SIM card and microSD slot will be placed on the top, while the left side is the Bixby assistant button. At the front, you can also see the front camera and face scanning sensor. Interestingly, there is also no physical home button.
